While I don't think you need anything special to connect with people, I'm a big fan of design/creativity and whether it's finding a perfect table cloth and hostess outfit for your next event, to theming a gift for someone, those just so happen to be my hobbies too! So I thought, "why not combine all of these interests!" I've decided to kick off this Quick Connections post series to share some items and ideas for adding a pop of color and a bit of fun to your connecting.
And oh boy is this a good time to start because not only is it timely with the holiday season, but I've found major sales on today's tip!
I would be curious to know how many readers still send hand written notes! I started writing more letters a few years ago with W, and haven't stopped. Once you experience how exciting it is to find a personal handwritten note from someone you care about in the mailbox (and not just credit card offers), I think you will make it a habit too! It's a great way to stay connected with people. Ever have trouble expressing your feelings to people in person? Taking time to write out your personal thoughts gives you time to think through your words, and leaves them in a way your recipient can hang on to.
While I will continue to post more snail mail finds, this one is dedicated to holiday cards! I know today is Christmas Eve, and I have a confession that I haven't finished mailing out all of mine yet (yours is on the way, Grammy!), but it is still the holiday season! You can still send well wishes for the new year, and your recipients will be excited to receive the note all the same. With these deals going on, you might as well stock up on some cards for next year too!
Below are my top 5 picks from the Paper Source Sale going on (including the two in the photo featured above!)
